-6lbs In a Week!

You read that right, I lost 6 pounds in a week! I had to go to the doctor last friday then came back this past Friday and noticed the scale! This sounds like too much weight loss too quick but I just revamped my dieting. Before I was eating kinda paleo and had a cheat DAY every week. And even though I was working my butt off at CrossFit, I still wasn’t seeing results as quickly as I would have liked. So I was even more strict with my dieting and instead of a cheat day I switched to a cheat meal. Some people don’t cheat that often but for me, it seems necessary. I feel that if I deprive myself from eating unhealthy all the time that I will end up in a nasty cycle, binge eating. So what was my cheat meal this week you ask? My favorite of all favorites, a huge Chipotle burrito.

My dog, Minnie, wanted to have a photo-shoot with my protein and I happily obliged.

I feel like there is also something that I have to give credit to, Progenex protein. For me, this is a new protein. It is of course a whey protein isolate but is special because it is absorbed quicker into the blood stream. Speed absorption is important because it helps you get the gains you want quicker. While proteins like beef, chicken, fish, etc. take around five hours to get into your blood stream. (This is why you drink your protein drink 30 minutes after a workout)

What keeps me motivated and on track?

1) Seeing gains in myself (When lifting weights that seemed impossible two months ago or noticing fat loss)

2) Looking up to amazing athletes in my sport. Here are just a few…

    Thanks! Progenex has been awesome so far! Only downside is that it is a tad expensive :/
